Here is a video from a band called Motionless In White. They are a band who are heavily influenced by post-hardcore and alternative rock music. The colours and images portrayed throughout the video represent the very emotional style of music that they are playing and the colours used represent the rebellious nature of the type of people that listen to this music and these kind of ideas are things I will consider when creating my own Music Magazine.

This is another youtube video of a band called Guns N' Roses. They are an american hard rock band, who's music is extremely meaningful and the lyrics represent the ideals and beliefs of many people who enjoy listening to rock music. They are all wearing colours of black and red again this respresents the violent rebellious nature of the music which evidently comes across to the audience. This band is extremely well known and so featuring such a band within a magazine will encourage people to want to pick up and buy the magazine and since this band comes from a decade when rock music was famous people will automatically think that any magazine which features such bands is a serious rock magazine.

This is a band called Bullet For My Valentine. They are a welsh heavy metal band which was originally formed in 1998. They clearly put their ideas and beliefs across to relate to the audience, they do this through the use of shooting locations, costumes and through the use of colours. They chose a very dark and depressing forest like area to shoot their video and this put across and emphasized the emotional style of music that they were playing, thus allowing their audience to relate with the genre of music that they were listening to.

This band is called Black Veil Brides. They are an american rock band who originated from Hollywood in California, and are heavily influenced by other bands such as Motley Crue and Kiss. This particular music video is very interesting and will definitely influence my music magazine. It uses colours particularly within this video and uses a strong contrast between the colour black and the colour white, in certain shots of the video there would be an all black set and in other shots it would be an all white set, their outfits also change within the video and from being back to white, these two colours look really well against eachother and represent the stereotypical type of clothing that you would expect off someone who is in a rock band. The white and black represents the darkness and light and people's lives and is trying to represent the idea that we all have bad and good things happen in our life, but that you've just got to keep going, this relates to the audience and so black and white could be a potential colour theme within my own music magazine.

This is a band called Paramore. They are an american rock band, from Frankin, Tennessee, and they're music videos use a wide range of colours and represent messages which could be duplicated within my own music magazine. They all wear clothes which are red, black etc, this represents violence and being rebellious and so of course would appeal to a younger and older audience, especially if seen in the front cover of a music magazine.

This is a band called Never Shout Never. They are a indie pop band who formed in 2007 and have since become very popular. They are a very good influence upon my music magazine. The music has avery indie urban feel due to the use of colours and shooting locations, all of these are things I will consider when looking at shooting locations for my front cover magazine.
